About Us
Pleasant Valley Heritage Farm is a registered not for profit shelter for abused, neglected, and unwanted farm animals.  We opened for operation in the summer of 2003.  Since opening we have provided shelter for various abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted farm animals including horses, ponies, donkeys, sheep, goats, pot belly pigs, llama's and alpaca's, rabbits, geese, chickens, and ducks.  Many of these animals have been rehabilitated and placed into loving homes, others will live out the remainder of their life here on the farm.  Since opening we have taken in over 76 animals, and have placed 34 animals in permanent adoptive homes.  We regularly give tours, including schools, day cares, and drop in visitors
our active pet therapy program provides services to geriatric and autistic clients. We are a volunteer run organization with a volunteer board of directors.  We became incorporated in December of 2004 as a non-profit organization and we are currently applying for charitable status.
