Co-op Students Co-op program for high school students The farm has been able to provide
local high school co-op students with co-op experiences over the past
year. If you are interested in working in an outdoor environment, with
animals, elderly people, and children this could be the work experience
for you.
Students looking for careers in
the following areas would most benefit from this experience. Click here

for the Co-op Student.
Veterinary medicine Social work Animal science Agriculture Education Volunteer organizations Animal protection Humane education We are able to provide work
experiences for up to (3) three students in the fall. Much of the
work is done outside. The students are provided with a handbook,
and a list of activities that they can do from school on inclement
days. This usually comprises research or writing of articles for our
newsletter.
It is not
mandatory, but useful if the students are given permission to travel
with us to the local nursing homes and schools to participate in our Pet Therapy and Reading Bunnies
Programs.
If you are
interested in participating in our Co-op student program in the fall,
please contact your guidance person, or appropriate teacher in your
school, and contact
us. There is a brief “interview” process to
see if this work is suitable for you.
We look forward
to the many positive work experiences this program can provide for you.
