Birthday Parties

    It never occurred to me that anyone would want a birthday party at a farm until I was approached this winter to hold one here. So if you are interested in having a birthday party here at the farm we would love to!  Of course, as a fundraiser, there is a “fee” for this.  The “fee” goes toward helping us take care of the animals. What does a birthday party on the farm include?  Really that depends on you.

Basic Party:

This is a mostly a `you do the work` party.  This one works best in the winter. You come visit the animals, you can take pictures, and when you are finished you take the party home to have cake and presents.

Deluxe Party:

This is only do-able in good weather. We basically do everything.

You visit the animals

 If we have a suitable pony or two we may be able to provide pony rides, if we have a buggy and pony/horse that drives we can give buggy rides. This depends on what animals are here at the time as animals come and go and suitability varies, but we can discuss this when you call to book the party. 

We will have a few “farm type” party games arranged including simple prizes.

We will prepare goodie bags for the children.

We will provide the cake and ice cream, and a drink (most likely kool-aid or water).

You can take your own photos, if you would like to have your photo on our website you can email it to us and we would love to add it to our site.

We do the clean up.

You will want to plan a rain date incase of bad weather, or we can move the party into the barn, if numbers are small.

Children should come dressed appropriately ie: play sneakers or rubber boots, and play clothes, and in layers.

We do not provide balloons as they pose a choking hazard
